Where To Place The Module
Placement drives visibility and perceived intrusiveness. Most high-performing product pages follow one of two patterns: integrated and contextual placements.

- Single-Click Action: Allow an easy toggle or one-click upgrade without clearing the cart or reloading the page.
Content And Copy Best Practices
Keep copy concise and benefit-focused. Avoid jargon and lead with the customer-centric payoff.
- Lead With Benefit: Start with what the upgrade does for the customer ("Lasts 3x longer") rather than product specs.
- Contrast, Not Confuse: Use a short comparison line ("Standard vs Pro") to highlight the difference at a glance.
- Use Actionable CTAs: CTAs like "Upgrade for $X" outperform vague labels such as "More Info."
When To Use Price Anchoring And Discounts
Anchoring and limited discounts can increase perceived value, but they must be honest and sparing. Use a crossed-out MSRP only if it's factual. Time-limited anchor offers can push uncertain buyers but test impact on average margin.
