During the promotion, test stores sell 1,800 units/week versus 1,000 baseline, while control stores sell 1,050 units/week versus 1,000 baseline. The difference-in-differences incremental units are (800 - 50) = 750 units/week attributable to the promotion. Multiply incremental units by incremental margin and subtract promotion costs to assess profitability.
