Securing acceptance starts long before a tender is sent. It requires defining lanes, building reliable carrier relationships, and using accurate freight data. Practical processes combine carrier selection, clear tender formatting, the right timing, and the appropriate channel—EDI, portal, or phone. Managing accepted tenders then involves confirmation tracking, appointment scheduling, monitoring carrier performance, and handling exceptions like rejections or on-the-day equipment failures.
