Case picking suits wholesale, retail distribution, and replenishment scenarios where orders are measured in cases or pallets. If customers place large-volume orders or the business ships full-case quantities to brick-and-mortar stores or other warehouses, case picking reduces touches and lowers handling cost per unit.
