Decision Guardrails

Decision guardrails are predefined constraints, rules, or policies that limit what an agentic AI system can decide or do to ensure safety, ethics, and alignment with human goals. They combine technical controls (such as hard limits, reward shaping, and verification), policy rules, and human oversight to prevent harmful or unintended behavior while still enabling purposeful autonomy.
