Product managers translate business goals into UX requirements; UX researchers and designers map journeys and test flows; UI designers apply visual systems and accessibility rules; engineers implement interactions and ensure performance. In logistics firms a successful handoff includes operational acceptance testing on the floor and validation against SLAs—engineering should measure both UI performance (render times) and UX outcomes (task completion rates).


Practical Example


A carrier app had a polished UI but frequent misroutes because drivers couldn’t reconcile multiple pickup exceptions. The fix required UX work: reworking exception workflow, surfacing required fields before dispatch, and adding offline caching for connectivity drops. UI changes later improved legibility and reduced driver confirmation errors. The combined approach reduced misrouted pickups by 25% and decreased on‑route corrections.
