Sortation labels appear at multiple points in a distribution flow: printed by shippers at pack stations, generated by in-house WMS/TMS at induction, or produced by carriers inside a hub. They are formatted so scanners, machine vision systems, and human operators can quickly identify the destination zone, final-mile carrier, or processing priority.
What The Label Typically Contains
