At its simplest a User Interface connects human operators with software logic: it displays data, receives input, enforces workflows, and communicates system state. For logistics and warehouse environments the UI must translate complex backend processes — inventory lookups, order allocation, carrier selection — into concise, actionable screens that reduce errors and speed task completion.


What The Interface Typically Covers


  • Navigation: Menus, tabs, and shortcuts that let users move between workflows (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping).
