The package is scanned at shipping and tracking is pushed to the marketplace and customer. Two days later, the customer returns the item; the OMS issues an RMA, the warehouse inspects and restocks the SKU, and the refund is processed. Throughout, inventory and financial ledgers are adjusted to reflect the movement and refund.

  • Automate Exceptions: Use rules for payment holds, split shipments, and out-of-stock routing instead of manual emails.
  • Integrate Systems: Ensure OMS, WMS, and carrier/TMS integrations are robust to keep real-time status flowing to customers and operations.
