The original pick-and-pack team built pallets eight layers high, but the retailer’s PO states a six-layer maximum with barcode labels on the second layer. The reconfiguration team stages pallets in a nearby bay, removes top layers, restacks cartons to meet the six-layer requirement, applies new barcode labels in the requested location, reinforces the pallet with edge protectors, and updates the ASN.
