ISAAC Instruments Leads Integration with Trimble Innovative Access Plus TMS
ISAAC Instruments has announced a significant milestone in the transportation industry by becoming the first external telematics provider to complete an integration with TrimbleⓇ Transportation Cloud (TTC) through the cloud-based Trimble Innovative Access PlusⓇ transportation management system (TMS). This achievement highlights the expanding role of the Trimble Transportation Cloud in enhancing connectivity within the transportation and logistics supply chain.
Enhanced Integration Capabilities
Previously, ISAAC integrated its telematics solutions with Trimble’s on-premise Innovative IES TMS through the ISAAC Open Platform. The new integration via the TTC offers fleets more flexibility in incorporating different versions of Innovative TMS, accommodating both current and legacy systems. This development is the culmination of a multi-year collaboration aimed at preparing fleets for a more connected future.
"ISAAC is excited to be the first external telematics provider to offer this cloud-based integration with Trimble,” said Jacques DeLarochelliere, CEO and co-founder of ISAAC. “We are committed to investing in our integration team and reinforcing partnerships with technology leaders like Trimble to enhance fleet value.”
Rishi Mehra, Vice President of Commercial Mapping & Routing Technology at Trimble, emphasized the benefits of the collaboration: “By working with ISAAC, we’re not only broadening our service offerings but also delivering exceptional value to our joint customers. The ISAAC-Trimble integration enhances efficiency, operations, and overall success for our customers.”
Grant Group of Companies First to Adopt
The Grant Group of Companies, which operates over 350 trucks under various units including John Grant Haulage, is the first fleet to leverage the cloud-based Innovative Access Plus integration. Based in Ontario, Grant Group has reported a smooth transition with minimal disruptions, thanks to the effective implementation of the new system.
Heather LeBlanc, Manager of IT Solutions at Grant Group, noted the seamless experience: “Platform changes can be challenging, especially given the diversity of our business units, but the fleet commissioning process went smoothly with minimal disruption.” She also highlighted the integration’s user-friendly driver onboarding and strong system connectivity, expressing eagerness to explore further benefits of the new technology.
