Pimm.com, a leading autonomous e-commerce fulfillment technology company based in Laredo, Texas, has announced a strategic alliance with DutyFreeZone.com and DutyFreeFood.com. The partnership aims to scale DutyFreeZone.com's fulfillment operations using DutyFreeZone.com's fully autonomous 3PL model. As part of the alliance, DutyFreeZone.com is also making an undisclosed financial investment in Pimm.com.

Expanding E-Commerce Footprint Across North America

Through this strategic alliance, Pimm.com will help expand DutyFreeZone.com's fulfillment centers with its cutting-edge AI robotics and autonomous fulfillment systems. Pimm.com's supply chain network includes over 48 warehouses and fulfillment operations in North America, processing 12 million shipments annually. The company is also considering divesting its freight business to concentrate on its parcel and logistics divisions.

Future Expansion Plans

Currently, Pimm.com operates three fulfillment center "nodes" in the U.S. located in Los Angeles, Laredo, Texas, and Trenton, New Jersey. Plans are in place to launch additional nodes in Miami, Chicago, and Atlanta by 2025, further expanding their network and capabilities.
