The Future of Communication
Black Saber Group, a leader in secure voice and data solutions, has announced the launch of two revolutionary products: the E-Clip and E-Dock. These innovative devices are the first commercially available tools that enable AES-256 encrypted voice calls and location updates over the Iridium® network.
The E-Clip and E-Dock, designed specifically for the Iridium Extreme® satellite phone, feature a user-friendly encryption graphical user interface (GUI). This makes them the only commercial devices that offer exportable, user-managed AES-256 encrypted voice communication. After two years of dedicated research and development, Black Saber Group has delivered a solution to meet the growing demand for secure satellite communication.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Encrypted Voice Communication: Both the E-Clip and E-Dock encrypt voice calls between Iridium Extreme satellite phone users, ensuring secure communication.
- Position Location Information (PLI) Encryption: The devices encrypt PLI using AES-256 and transmit the data via the Iridium® satellite constellation to a Common Operating Picture (COP) for display.
- User-Controlled Transmission: The PLI can be preset to send at user-defined intervals and can be enabled or disabled as needed.
- NIST FIPS 197 Certified: This certification validates the devices' ability to perform end-to-end AES-256 encryption for voice communications.
- Flexible Usage: The E-Clip is designed for outdoor use, while the E-Dock is suitable for indoor environments, including buildings, vehicles, and vessels.
To initiate encrypted voice communication, users attach the E-Clip or E-Dock to their Iridium Extreme satellite phone and select the encrypted mode on the GUI. Secure conversations are facilitated through a headset with a 3.5mm jack once the encrypted call is connected.
Black Saber Group emphasizes customization to meet each customer's unique needs. The E-Clip and E-Dock are available for both domestic and international customers.
