New Expedited and Air Shipment Options Reflect Growing Commitment to Latin America
Circle Logistics, a leading name in logistics and transportation, has unveiled its enhanced cross-border freight services connecting the United States and Mexico. The expanded service offerings now include expedited and air shipments, underlining Circle's strengthened focus on the Mexico and Latin America markets. The company has seen remarkable year-over-year growth and aims to solidify its presence in Mexico throughout 2024 and beyond.
Emphasizing the Benefits of Nearshoring
“With many large U.S.-based companies shifting their operations to Mexico, it’s crucial to establish priority lanes, streamline processes, and build reliable relationships for cross-border transportation,” stated Derek Holst, Senior Vice President of Circle Logistics. “Our recent experiences highlight the advantages of nearshoring, such as reduced costs, emissions, risks, and supply chain disruptions.”
Prioritizing Driver Safety and Operational Efficiency
Given the more than 50% increase in cargo theft from 2022 to 2023, Circle Logistics is committed to ensuring the safety of cross-border drivers. The company offers a comprehensive service that includes a 24/7 operations team, even on holidays, to support shippers and carriers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring timely and intact deliveries. Additionally, Circle employs advanced tracking solutions to monitor loads continuously, guaranteeing the safe transport of goods.
Expanding Reach and Strengthening Customer Connections
Circle, a privately owned asset-based third-party logistics provider (3PL), expanded its operations into Panama about three years ago. The company now employs 100 Spanish-speaking team members who focus on building and maintaining relationships from sales through operations. This expansion is part of Circle's broader strategy to enhance cross-border services, helping manufacturers move their products closer to customers for faster delivery times.
Projecting Future Growth and Success
With the clear benefits of near-shoring, Circle Logistics expects continued growth, particularly with high-quality goods being shipped from Mexico back to the U.S. The company's recent expansion has doubled the volume of shipments to Mexico in 2024 compared to 2023, and they anticipate a 100% increase over the next decade.
