EVERSANA Expands 3PL Operations with New 358,000-Square-Foot Facility in Memphis
EVERSANA, a leading provider of global services to the life sciences industry, has opened a new 358,000-square-foot, cGDP-certified distribution center adjacent to its existing campus in Memphis, Tennessee. This expansion adds 35% more controlled room temperature (CRT) capacity across all EVERSANA sites and brings the company’s total 3PL footprint to more than 1.25 million square feet.
Boosting Efficiency Through Robotics and Automation
As part of its investment in advanced technology, EVERSANA has implemented a new warehouse management system (WMS) from Datex and deployed AI-enabled warehouse automation robots from Locus Robotics.
The new WMS and autonomous co-bots are expected to significantly increase warehouse accuracy and operational throughput. Both technologies will be deployed across all EVERSANA 3PL facilities to streamline processes, reduce labor-intensive activities, and improve employee engagement.
Significant Expansion of Cold Chain Capacity
To meet the growing pharmaceutical demand for biologics and complex therapeutics, EVERSANA is expanding its cold chain logistics infrastructure with an additional 30,000 square feet of refrigerated and frozen storage. This expansion more than doubles EVERSANA's cold chain capabilities, ensuring they can support a rapidly evolving segment of the pharmaceutical industry.
Commitment to Operational Excellence and Client Success
Jim Lang, CEO of EVERSANA, emphasized the company's dedication to advancing service capabilities:
"The interest and demand for our 3PL & Channel services has rapidly grown. Our track record of quality and customer satisfaction is unmatched, and as we continue to invest in how we can serve the needs of clients today and tomorrow, we're bringing the latest in technology automation to even further improve speed, accuracy, and most importantly, patient outcomes."
This new facility continues a pattern of growth for EVERSANA. In 2019, the company expanded its cold chain storage capabilities and later opened a new 260,000-square-foot facility in Memphis, demonstrating a commitment to continuous investment in operational capacity.
Proven Excellence in Pharmaceutical Distribution
EVERSANA maintains a greater than 99% on-time delivery rate, distributes over 375 million units annually, and supports more than 600 product launches each year.
All EVERSANA facilities comply with rigorous state and federal distribution standards, including Drug Distributor Accreditation (DDA) from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), helping protect the U.S. drug supply chain from counterfeit and contaminated products.
