Gardewine Group Limited Partnership (“Gardewine”) has entered into a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire Westman Courier & Freight (“Westman Courier”), a privately owned company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The acquisition is expected to close on October 1, 2024, marking a significant expansion for Gardewine in the Manitoba and North-Western Ontario regions.

Founded eight years ago, Westman Courier has built a strong reputation for its small parcel to full truckload services, catering to various communities across Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario. Operating a fleet of 75 trucks and vans, the company has depots in Winnipeg, Brandon, Swan River, Dauphin, Thompson, and Thunder Bay. Over the years, Westman Courier has become a prominent player in the Manitoba market through consistent growth and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

The acquisition of Westman Courier provides Gardewine the opportunity to broaden its service offerings across Manitoba and North-Western Ontario.
