In this latest agreement, GXO will extend its services to include Henkel’s renowned beauty brands alongside the existing support for their laundry and homecare products.

Enhanced Logistics Services for Henkel’s Beauty Segment

GXO has been managing logistics for Henkel across a variety of brands in the laundry and homecare categories, handling everything from storage and distribution to seasonal returns and value-added services. With the expansion of the partnership, GXO will now oversee the logistics for Henkel’s beauty brands, leveraging advanced technologies to optimize operations.

Technological Advancements at the Orléans Site

Operating out of a 60,000-square-meter facility in the Orléans region, GXO will implement several cutting-edge technologies, including a pick-to-light system and an inventory viewer. These technologies are designed to enhance picking processes, improve accuracy, and increase overall efficiency at the site.

The facility already boasts energy-saving measures such as LED lighting with motion detection systems, and GXO has introduced sustainable initiatives like using a flock of sheep to maintain the green spaces. Looking ahead, GXO and Henkel plan to install solar panels at the facility to provide up to 50% of the electricity required for operations.

Both Henkel and GXO share a commitment to sustainable growth, with CO2 reduction being a key priority. In addition to the solar panel initiative, GXO’s innovative logistics solutions continue to support Henkel’s eco-friendly goals.
