Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrates Körber's Commitment to U.S. Market Growth
Körber Business Area Supply Chain has unveiled its cutting-edge Innovation Center in Dallas, Texas, marking a significant step in its expansion across North America. The grand opening, held on October 10, 2024, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by over 100 business leaders from renowned global brands, as well as local dignitaries, including Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer and representatives from Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne's office.
A Showcase of Advanced Supply Chain Technology
The new Körber Innovation Center offers visitors a firsthand look at Körber's advanced parcel and postal sortation equipment, which is widely used by top multinational supply chain companies to ensure efficient mail and package handling. As the first of its kind in North America, the center is situated on Körber's Dallas site, alongside the company's engineering, manufacturing, and warehousing teams, allowing for seamless collaboration and innovation.
Körber’s latest technological advancements are on full display in the Innovation Center, including machine hardware and software upgrades developed by their in-house experts. The center’s launch follows last year’s expansion of Körber’s Dallas manufacturing capabilities, which included the addition of a panel shop and a state-of-the-art warehouse, as well as an on-site engineering hub.
