Pallite Showcases PIX Warehouse Storage System at Manifest 2025
At Manifest 2025, an event that brings together leaders in logistics and supply chain innovation, Pallite took the stage to present its PIX warehouse storage system. Jake Smith, national sales manager at Pallite, sat down for an exclusive interview to discuss how the PIX system is reshaping warehouse storage with customizable, lightweight, and durable solutions.
What is Pallite and the PIX System?
Pallite is known for its innovative storage and packaging solutions designed to improve warehouse efficiency. The company's PIX system is a honeycomb board storage solution that is both lightweight and strong, offering businesses a flexible alternative to traditional shelving and racking.
The PIX system is designed to be freestanding or integrated into existing racks, making it a versatile option for warehouses looking to optimize their bin storage and picking processes. The units are also customizable to fit different bin sizes and rack heights, ensuring that companies can maximize every inch of their storage space.
Key Features of PIX Storage Units
During the interview, Jake Smith highlighted several advantages of the PIX system, explaining how it helps companies manage space and efficiency.
"PIX is a honeycomb board storage solution that we can build in standard size units or customize to fit exactly what our clients need," Smith said. "These units can be freestanding or fit inside racking, making them a versatile solution for warehouses."
He also emphasized how PIX is built to handle real warehouse conditions. "We originally created our first PIX product back in 2017, and it was installed in a 650,000-square-foot fulfillment center, picking multiple shifts per day," Smith said. "That system is still being used today, over eight years later."
Key benefits of the system include:
- Customizable design to match standard or custom storage configurations
- Lightweight yet durable construction
- Support for up to 55 lbs per bin location and 660 lbs per unit
- Easy integration into existing warehouse operations
- A cost-effective alternative to traditional storage solutions
Cost-Effective and Scalable Storage
Pallite’s PIX storage system is also an affordable alternative to traditional warehouse shelving. According to Smith, the most expensive PIX unit costs around $335 and features 48 storage bins, breaking down to roughly $6.75 per bin.
Smith also shared how companies are using the system for warehouse relocations. "Instead of shipping everything in separate boxes, they can pre-load inventory into the PIX units, shrink-wrap them, and forklift them onto a truck," he said. "By the time they arrive at the new warehouse, everything is organized and ready for picking."
The Future of Warehouse Storage
With increasing demands on warehouses, 3PLs, and fulfillment centers, companies are looking for more efficient and scalable storage solutions. The PIX system presents a sustainable, cost-effective, and adaptable alternative that allows businesses to optimize space without sacrificing durability.
As supply chains evolve and businesses seek more efficient order fulfillment methods, solutions like Pallite’s PIX system are poised to play a key role in improving warehouse operations.
