Precision 3PL, a Wilmington-based third-party logistics provider, has expanded its operations by relocating to a 214,000-square-foot warehouse at 802 N. 23rd Street. This move more than triples the company’s previous capacity and highlights growing demand for outsourced fulfillment among e-commerce brands.

From Startup to Scaled Logistics Hub

Founded in 2021, Precision 3PL initially operated out of a 72,000-square-foot facility on Raleigh Street. The new facility offers ample room for expansion and is strategically located minutes from FedEx and UPS hubs, the Port of Wilmington, and Wilmington International Airport (ILM).

These logistical advantages enable faster delivery times and lower last-mile costs—key factors for e-commerce companies competing in a fast-paced market.

Growing Client Base and National Reach

Precision 3PL began by supporting logistics for Outdoor Equipped, a Wilmington-based retailer that has become the largest third-party seller in the footwear category on Amazon. Outdoor Equipped reported $153 million in sales in 2024 and anticipates further growth this year.

Today, Precision 3PL serves around a dozen brands, including Sebago, Superga, and Arms Reach Concepts, which specializes in baby products. The expanded warehouse allows the company to onboard new customers, several of which are already in the process of transferring inventory.

Beyond Wilmington, the company also operates a fulfillment center in Ogden, Utah. With both locations combined, Precision 3PL now manages a total footprint of 377,000 square feet.

    Logistics Trends and Tariff Impacts

Like many logistics providers, Precision 3PL has been navigating shifting market dynamics. Fluctuating tariffs and broader economic uncertainty have affected inventory flow and planning cycles for many brands. Despite those challenges, the company has seen steady demand and expects to grow its team of 60 local employees to support its larger facility.

Industry analysts, including Armstrong & Associates, report continued growth in the 3PL sector, driven by increasing complexity in supply chains and rising customer expectations for speed and service. Regional providers with flexible operations, like Precision 3PL, are playing a larger role in helping brands remain competitive.
