  • The Growth Plan: Backed by Investment and New Leadership

Source Logistics' growth strategy is bolstered by a recent investment from Palladium Equity Partners, part of a larger USD 1.3 billion commitment to the US Hispanic market. This financial backing is critical in facilitating the company's expansion efforts.

As part of this strategic shift, the company has restructured its management team. Former CEO and co-founder Marcelo Sada has transitioned into a new strategic leadership role, focusing on the company's key growth initiatives. Raul Villarreal, also a co-founder and former COO, has stepped into the role of CEO to ensure the company continues to deliver industry-leading performance metrics as it scales. Other notable leadership appointments include Emily Robertson as CFO and Carl Fowler as Senior VP of Sales.

Adding New Capacity to Meet Demand

Source Logistics is set to expand its operational footprint significantly. The company plans to target four new locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Florida, and the Mid-Atlantic region, which will add 20% capacity to its existing facilities. This expansion aims to enhance Source Logistics' ability to meet the surging demand for consumer goods delivered from Latin America to the US.

In addition to expanding its physical footprint, Source Logistics is rolling out new transportation services, including freight consolidation and brokerage. These services are designed to improve the customer experience for both long-standing clients and new brands.

Delivering New Services and Strategic Partnerships

The growth plan also includes a proactive merger and acquisition (M&A) strategy, positioning Source Logistics to take advantage of new market opportunities. The company has already signed several strategic partnerships to support this expansion.

Carl Fowler, SVP of Sales, emphasized the company's readiness to leverage favorable market trends. "Source Logistics is ideally positioned to capitalize on favorable macro trends such as the decoupling from China, near-shoring to Mexico, and a rapidly expanding Hispanic population whose spending power currently accounts for USD 3.2 trillion in GDP," Fowler stated. "We are optimized to help our customers meet the surging demand for consumer goods delivery from Latin America to the US through our renowned specialization and experience in the sector and our 12 strategically located facilities, already totaling more than 2.3 million square feet."

    Customer Satisfaction and Future Outlook

Source Logistics prides itself on a customer retention rate of 93.8%, well above the industry average of 60%. This commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence has helped the company maintain strong relationships with over 100 customers, from small businesses to major brands.

Daniel Dibos of CAB Enterprises praised the company, saying, "The Electrolit brand is one of the fastest-growing beverage brands with double-digit annual growth rates. Having been with Source Logistics for 10 years, we trust them to go above and beyond in fulfilling our logistics needs."

Similarly, Federico Devalis of ARCOR highlighted the benefits of their partnership with Source Logistics: "The US Hispanic market is one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing segments. Partnering with Source Logistics has enabled us to take advantage of this opportunity confidently. Their expertise and strategic locations have been crucial in helping us expand our footprint and meet the demands of our consumers effectively."

As Source Logistics moves forward with its expansion, the company remains committed to upholding the high standards of service that have earned the trust and loyalty of its customers. With the support of Palladium Equity Partners, Source Logistics is well-positioned to continue growing and adapting to the evolving logistics landscape.
