Houston-Based 3PL Sets Sights on Clean Energy Logistics With New Tongwei Solar Partnership
Texas Logistic and Fulfillment, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider, has reached a major growth milestone by expanding its operational footprint to over one million square feet of warehousing space across the state of Texas. The announcement comes alongside the launch of a new renewable energy division, signaling a bold step into clean energy logistics.
A New Division for a New Era
Under the direction of CEO Omri Shafran, the company has launched a dedicated team and specialized facilities for handling solar panels, lithium battery storage systems, and other renewable energy components. These climate-controlled, low-humidity warehouses are optimized for sensitive equipment and supported by specialized handling technology and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
"Due to very high demand in the Texas market, we decided to establish a dedicated team and warehouses tailored for renewable energy products and solar panels," said Shafran.
Governor Abbott Praises the Initiative
Texas Governor Greg Abbott publicly commended the company’s clean energy efforts, noting the importance of public-private partnerships in advancing Texas’s renewable energy capabilities. The Governor also encouraged more logistics and clean energy businesses to establish operations in the state.
Strategic Partnership With Tongwei Solar
In a move to solidify global supply chain connections, Texas Logistic and Fulfillment has announced a new strategic partnership with Tongwei Solar, the world’s largest manufacturer of solar panels. The alliance aims to streamline distribution and market access for renewable energy products across North America.
"These new partnerships will strengthen the relationship between Texas and leading Asian manufacturers," said Dimitri Menin, President of Texas Logistic and Fulfillment.
Rapid Growth and Industry Impact
The company reports a 550% year-over-year increase in sales, fueled by its expansion into the clean energy logistics sector. With this growth trajectory, Texas Logistic and Fulfillment is poised to become a key player in reshaping the logistics landscape both regionally and nationally.
