    Truck Driving School Collects Donations at Three Locations to Support Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts


    TransTech, North Carolina’s largest truck driver training school, is rallying behind Western North Carolina communities affected by the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. The company is organizing donation collections across its campuses in Charlotte, Gastonia, and Newton to assist nearly one million residents facing the aftermath of the storm.


    Supporting Communities in Need


    "There is an immediate need for crucial supplies for nearly one million residents of Western North Carolina impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene," said Bob Boniface, Co-CEO and CFO of TransTech. "There are charitable community groups on the ground helping people throughout the region, and we want to support their efforts in any way that we can."


    TransTech will collect essential items from September 30 to October 3, 2024, at the following locations:


    • Charlotte Campus: 4424 Wilkinson Road, Charlotte, NC 28208


    • Gastonia Campus: 3051 Aberdeen Road, Gastonia, NC 28054


    • Newton Campus: 1261 US-70, Suite A, Newton, NC 28658


    Donation hours will be from 10 AM to 4 PM at each location.


    Items in Demand


    According to Tyrel Sulzer, Co-CEO and COO of TransTech, the company is actively gathering non-perishable food, bottled water, baby supplies, hygiene products, personal care items, and cleaning supplies. "We currently have staff members volunteering on the ground, and we are proud of their efforts. Acting as a collection center will help get products quickly to those who need them most," Sulzer said.
