Trinity Logistics Acquires Granite Logistics, Expanding Regional Service Center Footprint
Trinity Logistics has completed the full acquisition of Granite Logistics, a long-time authorized freight agency partner of nearly 14 years. The acquisition strengthens Trinity’s national footprint and adds two new Regional Service Centers (RSCs) in Sartell and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Granite Logistics offices will now operate as official Trinity Logistics RSCs, further expanding the company’s service coverage across the Upper Midwest while maintaining continuity for existing shipper and carrier relationships.
Two New Regional Service Centers Added in Minnesota
With this acquisition, Trinity Logistics officially brings the Sartell and Minneapolis locations into its growing network of Regional Service Centers. Both offices will continue operating under the leadership of Paul Nelson, Senior Vice President of Strategic Development, supported by the same teams that have served Granite’s customers and carrier partners for years.
Trinity has emphasized that operations at both locations will continue without interruption, ensuring a seamless transition for all existing relationships.
Strengthening Specialized Freight Capabilities
Granite Logistics is well known for its expertise in flatbed, over-dimensional, and heavy haul freight. By integrating Granite’s operations, Trinity Logistics enhances its capabilities in specialized and complex freight movements—an area of increasing demand as supply chains grow more diverse and infrastructure-heavy projects continue across North America.
The acquisition aligns with Trinity’s broader strategy to grow its operational reach while maintaining a strong focus on service reliability and long-term relationships.
Team Expansion and Continued People-Centric Growth
Approximately 135 team members from Granite Logistics will join Trinity Logistics as part of the transaction. The addition represents a significant milestone in Trinity’s ongoing investment in people, culture, and operational scale.
The expanded workforce supports Trinity’s People-Centric Freight Solutions® approach, which combines experienced logistics professionals with technology-driven tools to solve complex supply chain challenges.
Advancing a Nationwide Logistics Network
By converting a long-standing agency partnership into a fully integrated acquisition, Trinity Logistics deepens its nationwide presence and reinforces its mission to improve lives and supply chains by solving tough logistics problems across North America.
The move also reflects a broader trend within the logistics industry toward tighter operational integration, regional density, and expanded service offerings—particularly in specialized freight segments.
