UltraShip Announces Nine Major TMS Enhancements at Manifest 2026
UltraShip announced a major expansion of its transportation management system at Manifest 2026, unveiling nine new native platform enhancements designed for freight brokerages and 3PLs. The updates significantly broaden UltraShip’s functionality, aiming to deliver enterprise-level control, visibility, and automation without requiring teams to stitch together multiple third-party tools.
Expanding Beyond a Traditional TMS
While UltraShip has long served non-asset freight brokerages and 3PLs, these new enhancements represent a step change in how teams can manage sales, operations, communication, accounting, and performance inside a single system. The platform now supports more of the end-to-end brokerage lifecycle, reducing reliance on external CRMs, messaging tools, load boards, and reporting systems.
By consolidating workflows natively, UltraShip is positioning itself as a more complete operating system for brokerages that want to move faster while keeping software costs under control.
Key Platform Enhancements
Among the nine new capabilities is a built-in broker CRM that connects prospecting, onboarding, compliance, and load execution into a single workflow. UltraShip also introduced a native LTL load workflow, expanding the platform beyond FTL-only operations and allowing teams to manage LTL freight end to end inside the system.
Additional updates include Inbox Intellect, which automatically converts inbound shipper requests into draft loads, and CarrierQ, a built-in capacity sourcing tool that supports both FTL and LTL with real-time market and rate intelligence. UltraConnect centralizes internal and external communications, tying conversations directly to loads, shippers, carriers, and brokers.
The platform also introduced UltraAsk, an AI assistant that allows users to query the system in plain language without running reports or exporting data. On the operational side, UltraShip added native shipper onboarding and compliance workflows, built-in accounting tied directly to each load, and a proprietary performance reporting system that provides live visibility into broker activity, margins, commissions, and anomalies.
Designed to Reduce Manual Work and Tool Sprawl
Taken together, the enhancements are designed to help brokerages and 3PLs reduce manual effort, eliminate disconnected workflows, and operate with fewer external systems. By keeping data, communication, and execution inside one platform, UltraShip aims to improve speed, accuracy, and operational clarity across teams.
Seeing It Live at Manifest
UltraShip is showcasing these new capabilities live at Manifest 2026, giving attendees a hands-on look at how the expanded platform works in practice. The company is demonstrating the updates at its booth on the show floor as part of its continued investment in modernizing brokerage and 3PL operations.
