UniUni launches seamless U.S.–Canada cross-border delivery for e-commerce brands
UniUni, a fast-growing last-mile delivery provider, has launched a new cross-border service tailored for U.S. e-commerce merchants shipping to Canada. The service offers an end-to-end solution, covering first-mile pickup in the U.S., streamlined customs clearance, and final delivery across Canada.
Direct solution for small-to-mid shipments
A highlight of the rollout is UniUni’s Direct Solution, designed for parcels valued under USD $2,500. The service simplifies customs clearance, reduces delays, and helps small and midsize brands expand into Canada without the usual friction of cross-border logistics.
Scale and coverage
By mid-2025, UniUni’s network reached over 60 percent of the U.S. population and 80 percent of Canadian households. With the cross-border service, merchants now have access to faster and more reliable deliveries between the two markets. Sean Collins, UniUni’s VP of Cross-Border eCommerce and Enterprise Procurement, said the goal is to remove the barriers that have long slowed down U.S.–Canada shipping.
Market context
The launch comes at a pivotal time. Canada Post has been facing labor disruptions, including an overtime ban, that have strained parcel delivery nationwide. UniUni’s cross-border solution gives e-commerce brands a dependable alternative for reaching Canadian customers when traditional channels are under pressure.
