Women in Supply Chain Forum Returns This Fall With a Focus on Self-Advocacy and Community
The Women in Supply Chain Forum is coming back this fall, and its focus feels especially timely. The fifth annual event will take place November 17–18 at the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, South Carolina, bringing together supply chain professionals from across the industry for two days of conversation, connection, and shared learning.
This year’s theme, Self-Advocacy in the Workforce: Brand Yourself While Empowering Others to Climb the Corporate Ladder, reflects a growing recognition that career growth in supply chain isn’t just about titles or tenure. It’s about visibility, mentorship, and creating space for others to grow along the way.
Built for Real Conversations, Not Just Panels
The Women in Supply Chain Forum has always been designed differently from traditional conferences. While senior leaders like CEOs, presidents, and VPs are well represented, the event intentionally brings together professionals at all career stages. The goal isn’t just to listen to speakers, but to actually talk to one another.
Programming is structured to encourage meaningful interaction. In addition to discussion panels and a market overview session covering transportation and warehousing trends, attendees can expect hands-on networking formats, including small-group conversations that make it easier to share personal experiences and form mentor-mentee relationships.
There’s also room for lighter moments, like Supply Chain Jeopardy, which blends industry knowledge with a more relaxed, interactive format.
Highlighting Leadership Paths and Shared Experience
A key part of the agenda includes a panel featuring Women in Supply Chain award winners, including the Top 4 overall honorees. These conversations focus less on polished success stories and more on real career paths, lessons learned, and how leaders continue to advocate for themselves while supporting others.
The forum’s organizers have emphasized that the event is about building a community that lasts beyond two days in a hotel ballroom. Over time, the forum has grown into a network of professionals who stay connected, share opportunities, and continue learning from one another long after the event ends.
Looking Ahead to November
Registration for the forum is expected to open in April, with more details available through the event’s website. For supply chain professionals looking for an event that prioritizes honest conversation, mentorship, and long-term connection, the Women in Supply Chain Forum continues to stand apart.
