Whether your freight needs are large or small, Avalon Freight Services provides reliable, year-round, scheduled or chartered freight transportation from the Port of Los Angeles to Catalina Island, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Our new mainland facility, located at 385 E. Swinford Street in San Pedro, is easily accessible from the 110 and 710 freeways, and it’s in close proximity to passenger departures and arrivals to Catalina Island via ferry and helicopter. The vessel departs for Catalina Island Monday through Friday at approximately 4:00 p.m.. Items dropped off on Saturday must be non-perishable and will be transported to Catalina Island the following business day. We recommend you call in advance to make a reservation for sizable items or if you need to move a large amount of goods.
