Faulks Bros. Trucking Inc.

In 1946, America was transforming. Gas cost just 15 cents a gallon, a new house averaged $5,600, and Waupaca County was dotted with 83 one-room schoolhouses. That same year, brothers Syd and Oliver Faulks returned home from serving in World War II with a vision for their future. Armed with nothing more than determination, a few shovels, and an old Army surplus truck, the Faulks brothers began delivering sand and gravel to customers throughout the Waupaca area. This simple service formed the foundation of what would become one of Northeast Wisconsin’s most trusted construction and materials companies.
