Founded in 1947, by Thomas H. Ottery, Tom Ottery Transit, Inc. has been serving the dairy industry for over 75 years. It all started with one milk route. By the 1950’s Tom organized the first bulk system for hauling milk in Fond du Lac and the surrounding counties. In 1966, Tom built a milk transfer plant which allowed milk from the farm trucks to be transferred to semi-tankers for over the road long distance transport. The original plant is still in use today. Currently allowing Dairy Farmers of America the flexibility to move milk where it's needed. Tom Ottery Transit, Inc. continues to serve over 20 local dairy farms, delivering their milk to dairy processing plants throughout the Midwest, East and Southern United States.
