Frequently Asked Questions

Prioritize transit times to core markets, SLA commitments for pick/pack/ship, WMS and carrier integrations, dock and staging capacity, and value‑added service availability (kitting, returns, cold storage). Verify peak capacity, labor flexibility, and documented KPIs such as pick accuracy and order cycle time.

Request detailed rate sheets and example invoices, model cost‑per‑order scenarios at your SKU velocity, and include accessorials, minimums, and slotting fees. Compare dock‑to‑stock times, carrier lanes served, and offered discounts on parcel and LTL to calculate total landed cost.

Look for configurable racking, cross‑dock and consolidation services, temperature control, ASN/EDI support, lot and serial traceability, kitting and light assembly, and reverse logistics. Integration with ERP/WMS and transparent reporting are essential for multi‑channel order flows.

Confirm proximity to Highway 2 and regional freight corridors, available TL and LTL carrier coverage, nearest rail or intermodal terminals, airport freight access, and common backhaul lanes. Also validate local labor availability, utilities, and expansion options for future capacity.
