Top 10 3PL Warehouse Companies in: Uranium City

The 2026 Definitive Guide

Selecting a 3PL provider in Uranium City is a strategic decision that links warehouse footprint to regional trade corridors, carrier networks, and overall cost-to-serve. This guide profiles providers by facility infrastructure, multi-temperature capability, intermodal access to northern and central distribution routes, and systems integration for eCommerce, B2B, and omnichannel fulfillment. Consider vendors' analytics, slotting optimization, and onboarding timelines to align capacity with promotional cycles and marketplace spikes. Use these operational selection criteria to shorten transit windows, lower landed costs, and synchronize SLAs with peak season variability.

Also evaluate value-added services — returns processing, kitting, bonded storage, and proximity to last-mile partners — to improve delivery economics and customer experience.

CWS Logistics Ltd

Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

It was 1997 when CWS Logistics Ltd. began as a warehouse and packaging facility focusing on the distribution of crop protection products and seed in Western Canada. We started in Regina, Saskatchewan, and from there delivered excellent customer service and dependability. Our warehouse space doubled in 1998 to better accommodate our growing client base. We continued to grow adding AWSA warehouses in Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg. It was at this time that we added a fertilizer trans-load facility in Belle Plaine Saskatchewan. In 2003 the CWS head office was established in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our trailer fleet expanded to include Tridem dry vans, and by 2005 we had over 100 trailers in our fleet. It was at this time that we began operating our first turnpike trailer configuration between Regina and Winnipeg. In 2006, CWS purchased a new warehouse and packaging facility in Regina. We had now survived and flourished for ten years of operation. In 2011, CWS completed construction of a brand new facility in Saskatoon. Our footprint grew again in 2013 with the purchase of an additional facility in Winnipeg and a new warehouse space in Calgary. 2013 proved to be a busy year as we completed our state of the art packaging facility and warehouse in Regina. As an organization, CWS Logistics now exceeds 800,000 ft² of operational space and operates 75 highway tractors and 200 trailers. As an established yet ever-growing company, CWS provides complete logistical services to multi-national, publicly traded and privately held companies. We are proud to say that we are the largest privately held, asset based 3PL in Western Canada.

Frequently Asked Questions

Evaluate location and transit lane coverage, facility type (ambient/cold/bulk), integration with your WMS/OMS, SLA flexibility, throughput and SKU density, returns & kitting capability, cost-per-order, and carrier relationships that impact last-mile economics.

Proximity to carriers and intermodal nodes reduces drayage, shortens transit windows, and improves freight consolidation options. This typically lowers landed costs and multiplicatively improves on-time performance for regional deliveries.

Expect picking/packing, cross-dock, temperature-controlled storage, returns processing, kitting/assembly, labeling, bonded options where applicable, and API-based visibility for order tracking and inventory reconciliation.

Review historical throughput, peak-season performance data, contingency labor plans, temporary labor access, SLA penalty clauses, and the 3PL's ability to deploy overflow space or satellite locations during spikes.

Verify local permits and zoning for warehousing types, hazardous materials handling and documentation, bonded storage availability for cross-border flows, and environmental constraints that affect handling or seasonal access for carriers.
