ABOUT US Airfield Warehousing Ltd is the solution to all your commercial storage problems. Based in Oundle, just outside of Peterborough we have been providing professional warehouse storage, handling and transport for over 30 years. You can find us at Polebrook Airfield. As a small established company with a great reputation we can provide you with a professional and friendly service. Our warehouse storage site is steeped in history, based on a former World War II air base located 3.5 miles east-south-east of Oundle in Northamptonshire. It was from here that the United States Army Air Forces Eighth Air Force carried out its heavy bomb group (B-17) combat missions and one of the crew included Major Clark Gable. Having been rebuilt in the 1980s Airfield Warehousing Ltd has over 150,000sq ft of purpose-built dry, secure warehousing space together with large areas for outside storage. Initially our warehouses were used for predominantly agricultural purposes, providing potato storage for the local crisp and chip producers. Over the years, this has changed so that we now offer commercial storage to various companies within the warehouses prior to distribution, together with the original J2 hangar in which we store 20000 tonnes of wheat.
