Partners Warehouse was founded in 1989 by Tom Wagner to provide rail transloading services to the building materials industry. The business moved in 2003 from Chicago to its current headquarters located in Elwood, Illinois. With the addition of new corporate leadership, the business expanded to six locations in several suburban cities in the Chicago Metropolitan area. The moves were motivated to follow the best logistical services driven by client needs. Partners Transportation, an asset heavy trucking company, was added in 2008 to allow more timely deliveries of client goods along with optional logistic services such as drayage or shuttle support when needed. Over time, Partners Warehouse was able to cultivate an expert and driven team that shaped the technology and processes that are and to this day rooted in client satisfaction, accuracy, and flexibility. Today Partners operates in five locations and offers a wide variety of solutions including warehousing, transportation, transloading, and rail. Partners Warehouse serves many industries including building materials, timber and lumber, rolled paper, steel and other metals, automotive, food and beverage, consumer goods, medical devices, industrial products, and bulk commodities. Partners continues to grow and expand by assisting our customers with their varying supply chain needs, while maintaining our commitment to service and excellence.
