BigBlue Logistics Corporation (BBLC) was established in 2002 in Paknaan, Mandaue, starting with 1,000 locations. The company swiftly expanded by an additional 1,000 locations within just two years, fueled by the rapid growth of fast-serve food chains. In 2008, BBLC opened an 8,000-pallet multi-temperature warehouse in the North Reclamation Area, which became a central distribution hub for Metro Cebu and its surrounding regions. ​ Since then, BBLC has continued to grow, with the addition of an 8,000-pallet storage facility in Tayud, Consolacion, in 2016, and a 20,000-pallet distribution center in 2018. This expansion brings the total storage capacity to over 32,000 pallets across four locations. By mid-2022, BBLC launched a 24,000-pallet Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) facility, significantly increasing operational efficiency while positioning itself for further expansion throughout the Philippines and embracing the latest automation technologies. ​ Looking ahead, a new ASRS warehouse is set to open in September 2025, which will add 31,000 pallet locations to BBLC's capacity. This facility will incorporate state-of-the-art automation and control systems, with a strong focus on inner-case picking and efficient dispatch.
