In 1946, Marion (Bud) Murray began a family-owned trucking and warehousing operation in Davenport, Iowa. With just a few trucks, Murray served Midwest shippers that needed less-than-truckload or truckload coverage on a regional basis. As word spread about Murray's excellent, reliable operation, he discovered his customers were in need of more services. When Marion's son Robert joined the family business, together, they created Murray Enterprises. They built a ground up executive marketing and operations plan highlighting their experience in Supply Chain Management, Managed Labor Services, Kitting and Assemblies, JIT Warehousing and Single Source Logistics. Today, Murray Warehousing customers benefit from over 1,000,000 square feet of space, temperature controlled, FDA approved facilities and a team of dedicated professionals focused on customer service excellence.
