RMI began with its namesake and founder, Ralph Moyle, hauling produce as a 13-year-old in Mattawan, Michigan, during World War II. Officially incorporated in 1966, RMI has grown from a local transportation company for agricultural producers to serving a variety of industries in 38 states east of the Rockies. From humble roots, RMI has grown to include more than 160 employees, 70 tractors, a 400,000-square-foot dry goods warehouse, and services ranging from local transportation to distribution management and light repackaging for clients including: Coca-Cola, Welch’s, Knouse Foods, and Gordon Food Service.
