Founded in 1991, Refrig-It is a full-service multi-temperature-warehousing company located in South Kearny and Newark, New Jersey. Adjacent to New York City and the Ports of New York & New Jersey (less than 5 miles away), our facilities are uniquely positioned to offer premium logistics services to importers and distributors of specialty food products. Refrig-IT initially operated out of a 138,000 square foot facility focusing on the storage and handling of produce, dried fruits and nuts. By 1995, Refrig-IT was the premier warehouse servicing the small but growing nut, seed, and dried fruit sector. Over the next 20 years, it expanded its square footage and added to its team of dedicated and highly-talented individuals. In 2019, Refrig-IT opened its Newark, NJ warehouse in a newly constructed building. The Newark facility is a full-service, multi-temperature warehouse, which has provided Refrig-IT with the capacity to bring on new customers for the first time in years. Located a short distance from the Ports of New Jersey and New York, this facility offers ambient, refrigerated, and frozen storage services.
