Growing up in the trucking industry, Tom Hastings started driving truck for his father Dean at the age of 16 before a commercial driver’s license was required. In 1981 after the deregulation of intermodal transportation, Tom founded TSL. With his wife Patty at his side, Tom utilized his education, his father’s mentorship, entrepreneurial spirit, and hard work to grow TSL into a full-service international logistics company that provides its customers with the best service in the industry. Managed today by Tom’s three sons David, Chris, and Patrick, TSL remains a family-owned organization benefiting from three generations of transportation experience.
