VMW Express was originally founded in 1987 by our owners, Mike Malhani, Sohrab Bagheri, and Tony Miremadi. What started off as a small parcel and package delivery courier, has since grown, shifted, and evolved for the past 3 decades. ​ To meet the ever changing needs of our clients, we have evolved to where we are now, an asset-based regional carrier who services the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. ​ VMW stands for Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. - which is still our core footprint for final-mile services.
