Dee Zee Ice, organized in 1991, has been producing and delivering Packaged Ice, Cubed Ice and Block Ice from its South Windsor, CT location for over twenty years. Upon the original owner's ice business retirement, the assets of the company were acquired by Carl Verderame III and Rusty Rogers in late 2009. In 2010, we were able to increase the sales volume by over 30% and in June 2011, Dee Zee Ice LLC, which markets its products under the DIAMOND ICE brand, began production and distribution from its new, fully automated, state-of-the-art building, centrally located in Southington, CT. This facility, only minutes from Interstates 84, 691, and Route 9, will enable us to provide loading dock services for customer pick-up, a PIQCS certified production and storage system, heat-sealed bags for unequalled safety and protection, and freezer inventory of over a quarter of a million pounds of ice. Our seven day a week, twenty four hours a day ice-making capacity will produce more than 130,000 pounds of ice daily. Our satisfied and loyal customer list includes liquor stores, gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, catering services, fairs, school events, grocery markets, special charity events, construction companies, church carnivals, campgrounds, professional sports teams, laboratories, colleges, private events, and many other users of cubed and block ice.
