With only Brent Jones and Phil Durham behind the wheel, STI began its humble journey as a company more than thirty years ago. Having grown up together in Greer, South Carolina, Brent and Phil shared many interests and would separately embark on career paths in transportation. They would eventually found STI together in January of 1991, and have spent the last 30 years striving to build the company with the focus of exceeding customers' expectations, and competitors' track records, in delivering the fastest shipping times and the most superior customer service experience possible. With that focus, and their faith, as their compass, they have gone from a small office with just the two of them carrying the load, to becoming the top expedited freight and hot shot freight company in the Southeast.
