Starting with only one truck and a philosophy to innovate rather than imitate, James “Jack” Russo began moving metals around the Detroit, Michigan marketplace with a desire to speed delivery times and reduce waste and cost. With the advent of Just In Time warehousing for the automotive industry, yet unproven rail to market potential and outdated truck technology Jack and his family took it upon themselves to reinvent how steel could be delivered through unconventional ways at the end of the 1980’s. Jack’s dreams and successes continue to be the cornerstone of how the flatbed transportation and dedicated warehousing industry operates today.
