Summit Cold became directly an AIB & USDA certified warehouse. Extended hours of operation Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM (Weekend hours are available for emergencies and by appointment only) No other public cold storages in the Chicagoland area operate such long hours. Summit Cold Storage has been family-owned since its origination, and continues to hold the same values of the company founder "Jan Kucharski". We have grown the old-fashioned way, with hard work every day and internal focus. Summit Cold Storage is always trying to stay ahead of the curve and think outside the box.
