Van Reenen Transport - Warehouse - Verhuizingen has been in business for over a century, making it one of the oldest transport companies in our country. Over all those years, we have built up enormous expertise. The key concepts of our company are "quality" and "reliability". And that is why customers continue to do business with us. The first owner of the transport company was Willem Rijken. In a marriage certificate from November 1917, he states his profession: freight driver. He sold the business to Van Ee, who transferred ownership to Wolfswinkel on April 30, 1930. Six months after the start of the Second World War, J. van Reenen became the new owner. The truck involved in this transfer was an Oldsmobile. Given the scarcity of fuel at the time, this truck was equipped with a wood gas generator. By burning wood inside the truck, gas was released which could then be used as fuel. This wood was transported on the roof of the truck. After the war, the company was expanded with a second truck. In 1960, the first DAF Torpedo was purchased. This collector's item is still owned by Van Reenen. From that moment on, things moved quickly, and we now have more than 100 trucks of all shapes and sizes. Despite our advanced age, we are a dynamic and inventive transport company that keeps an eye on new developments in the (environmental) technical field. We like to lead the way in this regard. We demonstrate sustainable business practices in our choice of materials and fuels, in eco-driving, and in the optimization of distribution flows. All of this with an eye on the future of creation and our society. It is not without reason that Van Reenen Transport, Warehouse en Verhuizingen ranks among the top three percent of the healthiest transport companies in the Netherlands. And we are quite proud of that.
