Model inbound and outbound lanes, last-mile delivery partners, and consolidation frequency to quantify impact.

Look for high clear height, modular racking, adequate floor loading, multiple loading docks, segregated returns space, reliable utilities, and secure perimeter. Cold-chain capability, staging for cross-dock, and on-site packing/kitting areas matter when scaling SKUs and channel complexity.

Evaluate the 3PL's experience with local customs procedures, bonded warehousing options, and relationships with clearing agents. Assess documentation accuracy, average clearance times, duty management services, and contingency plans for hold-ups that affect lead times and inventory availability.
