Compare line-item pricing (storage, receiving, pick/pack, kitting, returns), minimums, billing cadence, and volume tiers. Review SLA metrics for pick accuracy, on-time shipment, and penalties. Model cost-per-order scenarios at current and projected volumes to identify breakpoints and hidden fees.

Require KPIs such as inventory accuracy, perfect order rate, order cycle time, and return processing time. Onboarding milestones should include test orders, complete WMS/API integration, staff training, inventory reconciliation, and a staged cutover with rollback plans to limit disruption.
